A different kind of clinic, by design.

We sit between two well-known approaches to dentistry abroad — the large hospital group and the small smile-makeover boutique. We are neither. This page explains the practical differences, in plain terms.

Our position

Between two categories. Beyond both.

Big hospital chains offer scale, multi-specialty backup, and institutional process. Boutique clinics offer speed, intimacy, and packaged smile transformations. Both serve real needs. We were built for a third profile of patient: one who weighs written warranty, material traceability, and continuity with a single senior surgeon above all else. The pages that follow show, axis by axis, what that means in practice.

Practical comparison

Eight axes, three approaches.

Each axis describes how the three approaches typically operate. Read it as a way to choose well — not as a judgment.

Warranty Typically a 5-year implant manufacturer warranty, with chain-internal terms governing remakes. Variable; often a 2–3 year clinic-internal undertaking, terms confirmed case by case. 10-year implant warranty · 5-year crown and veneer warranty · 2-year endodontic warranty · 1-year composite bonding warranty. Written, per case.
Response time Coordinator response within 24–72 hours via a central call centre. Treatment plan in several days. Same-day WhatsApp reply. Treatment plan within hours. WhatsApp reply in under 15 minutes. Indicative plan within 4 hours. Seven days a week.
Surgeon ownership Surgical rotations are common. The surgeon who plans your case may not be the one who delivers it. Usually one or two senior clinicians. Planning and delivery generally by the same hand. Senior-surgeon-led, by design. The clinician who plans your case is the clinician who delivers it.
Pricing Hospital tariff sheets, with separate line items for anaesthetic, consumables, and inpatient stays. Packaged smile-makeover bundles, often quoted as a flat fee. Minimum 40% below the price of a comparable premium private specialist in your home country. Itemised. No smile-makeover bundles.
Language support Multilingual staff, often via in-house interpreters paired with the treating clinician. One or two working languages, frequently English-only. Native-speaker coordinators in EN, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL and TR. Multilingual at clinician level.
Aftercare Follow-up scheduled in Istanbul, at the same site. Phone check-ins and remote photo review. A partner-clinic network in your home city for in-person follow-up, supported by the original treatment file.
Materials brand Brand choice is tender-driven and may vary between batches. Typically a fixed selection of one or two implant systems. Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and Astra Tech available. EN ISO 13485 traceability documented per case, with lot numbers.
Post-treatment guarantee A chain-internal complaints and revision procedure. A clinic-internal redo policy, generally informal. A written 10-year guarantee. If a remake is required within warranty, the return flight is covered under We Bring You Back.
A clarifying note

We're not for everyone.

We are not the cheapest option in Istanbul, and we do not try to be. We are not the fastest — a thorough plan takes longer than a two-day in-and-out. We are not the largest — we keep our weekly case volume deliberately low so the same senior surgeon stays with you from first scan to final review. If price is your first filter, or if you want a packaged smile in forty-eight hours, another clinic will serve you better. If you weigh written warranty, traceable materials, and continuity with one named clinician, we were built with you in mind.

Concretely

What sits behind the practice.

Six standards that shape every case we accept.

Standards

TEMOS accreditation

TEMOS is the German-origin international standard for medical tourism providers. It audits clinical pathways, patient rights, and international-patient handling. We hold the accreditation and renew it on schedule.

Materials

EN ISO 13485 certified · Straumann / Nobel Biocare / Astra Tech

The implant systems we work with are sourced through EN ISO 13485 certified channels. Every fixture is logged with its lot number on your treatment file, so your home dentist can read the case in full.

Sterilization

ISO 17665 autoclave protocol

Instruments are processed through an ISO 17665 steam sterilization cycle, the standard used in hospital surgical suites. Sterilization logs are retained per case.

Continuity

Senior-surgeon-led, planning and delivery by the same hand

The clinician who plans your case is the clinician who places the implant, prepares the tooth, or completes the restoration. No handover between planner and operator.

Return-flight protection

We Bring You Back

If a remake is required under warranty, We Bring You Back covers your return flight to Istanbul for the corrective work. The programme is written into the warranty document you receive at the end of treatment.

Aftercare

A partner network in your home city

Routine follow-up — sutures, hygiene, minor adjustments — is arranged through a partner clinic close to where you live. Your full treatment file is shared with the partner, so nothing is reconstructed from memory.

Pricing posture

A minimum 40% below the destination-country premium private specialist.

We do not benchmark ourselves against the low end of Turkish dentistry. We benchmark against what a comparable premium private specialist would charge in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, or Austria. The published posture is to remain at least 40% below that figure, with every line itemised and no packaged smile-makeover bundles. The saving comes from operating in Istanbul, not from substituting standards.

Common questions

What patients ask before booking.

How is GC different from a big hospital group?

The two main differences are continuity and scale. In a hospital group, surgeons rotate and the operator may differ from the planner. Here, the same senior clinician plans and delivers your case. We also keep weekly case volume deliberately low, which is why each treatment file carries the same level of detail.

Why not just choose a smaller boutique clinic?

Many boutique clinics work well, particularly for cosmetic transformations on healthy teeth. We differ in two places: a written 10-year warranty with itemised terms, and material traceability documented per case with lot numbers. If those two points matter to you, the difference is meaningful. If not, a boutique may serve you just as well.

What if I only have two days in Istanbul?

We will say so honestly: a thorough first visit, including 3D imaging and a senior consultation, typically asks for three to five days. Two-day visits are reserved for second-stage steps after planning is already complete. If a two-day total is non-negotiable, another clinic format will suit you better.

How is the warranty enforced once I am back home?

The warranty is a written document signed at the end of treatment. It names the implant system, lot numbers, and the specific terms for each restoration. If a remake is required within the warranty period, We Bring You Back covers the return flight to Istanbul for the corrective work, and your home-city partner clinic handles the diagnostic photos and the file we need to act.

What does aftercare look like in my home country?

Routine follow-up is arranged through a vetted partner clinic in your home city — usually within a short drive. Your full treatment file, including imaging and lot numbers, is shared with the partner before your appointment, so the dentist who sees you is reading the same case we worked from in Istanbul.

Talk to us

Start with a 15-minute video call.

A multilingual coordinator will speak with you first, and where the case calls for it, Dr. Cansu Öztürk or a senior member of the team joins the call. There is no commitment to proceed afterwards — many patients use the call simply to weigh their options.
