See your smile
before a tooth is touched.

Digital Smile Design is not a marketing term at this clinic. It is a process — photography, 3D scan, wax-up mock-up — that gives you a physical preview of the outcome, fitted onto your own teeth, before any preparation begins. If you do not like it, nothing has been done.

What smile design is not

Not a "Hollywood Smile". Not a before/after feed.

The "Turkey Teeth" problem is not that the porcelain is bad. It is that healthy natural tooth structure is ground down to stumps to accommodate bright, oversized veneers. That is not smile design. That is cosmetic over-reach.

Our work begins with the opposite question: how much of your enamel can we preserve? Minimal-prep, additive-where-possible, and — if the honest answer is that you do not need treatment at all — we will tell you.

Method

Four steps, in order.

01

Photography & scan

High-resolution portraits, intra-oral photography, and a 3D intra-oral scan. The starting point of the design — not the hero shot for marketing.

02

Digital design

Proposed tooth shape, proportion and shade drawn against your face. Reviewed together. Revised until the design is something you actually want.

03

Mock-up in your mouth

The proposed design fabricated in temporary composite and fitted onto your existing teeth. You leave the clinic wearing the preview. You can speak, smile, eat with it. If it is wrong, we revise — before preparation.

04

Veneer preparation & fit

Minimal-prep, typically 0.3–0.5 mm. e.max Press or layered feldspathic. Bonded and finished across two to three sessions in the same week.

Materials

Porcelain, named.

01

e.max Press

Lithium-disilicate ceramic. Our default for 90% of veneer cases — strength and aesthetics in one material. Bonded onto minimal-prep preparations.

02

Feldspathic layered

Traditional porcelain, layered by hand. Chosen for anterior cases where translucency and light play matter most. More time at the bench, more control over subtleties.

03

Zirconia — rare

Only where strength requirements demand it — typically posterior bridging. Not a default for anterior aesthetics; translucency is too limited.

Cases

Minimal prep. Natural result.

FAQ

What UK patients ask.

Do they shave the teeth down, like in Turkey?
No. We prepare 0.3–0.5 mm of enamel for minimal-prep veneers, and sometimes less. The "Turkey Teeth" result you have seen online is the product of crowns — full reductions of the tooth — offered to patients who only needed veneers. It is a category error, not a country problem. We publish our preparation photographs on every case.
Will they look natural?
If you want them to. We will design for subtlety as readily as we will for brightness. The mock-up visit exists exactly so that you can see the shade and shape in your mouth, in daylight, before committing.
How many units do I need?
We design for the number of teeth that show when you smile — commonly eight on top, six on bottom. But the answer is a clinical one. If your canines are already even and the aesthetic concern is the centrals, four units is often the honest recommendation.
How long do veneers last?
Well-placed e.max veneers have fifteen-to-twenty-year survival curves in the published literature. Our written warranty is 5 years, conditional on annual review and no trauma.

◆ Aftercare · what happens when you fly home

Your treatment does not end at the airport.

Every patient leaves GC Clinic with a written warranty, a complete records pack in PDF for any UK dentist, and a structured WhatsApp follow-up schedule (24h · 72h · 1 week · 1 month · 3 months · 6 months · 12 months). Annual video review with Dr. Öztürk is standard. If a covered complication occurs in the warranty period, our "we fly you back" clause — written in your treatment agreement, not a marketing phrase — covers the return flight, hotel and corrective treatment.
