The materials we use

Named. Not "premium".
Brand and lot number in your file.

"Premium implant" means nothing. "Straumann BLX Ø4.1, lot 2026-F-47812" means something. This page lists — by brand, by product, by reason — every material we place in a patient's mouth. If a material is not listed here, we do not use it.

Implants

The Straumann Group & Nobel Biocare — named, lot-certified.

Every implant we place belongs to either the Straumann Group portfolio (Straumann · Neodent · Medentika) or to Nobel Biocare. Straumann Group is a single Swiss parent company with three implant brands targeting different clinical situations and price points — all A-grade, all lot-numbered, all documented. Your written plan names which specific brand and product sits in your tier.

01

Straumann (Switzerland)

Products: BLX · BLT · Roxolid SLActive.
Why: the surface chemistry we reach for when time-to-load matters — younger patients, front-of-mouth, borderline bone density. Standard in our Premium and VIP tiers.
Warranty: 10-year structural warranty on the fixture (clinic-extended manufacturer warranty).

02

Nobel Biocare (USA/Sweden)

Products: Active · Parallel CC · N1 · PMC.
Why: longest published follow-up data in the industry. Default for full-arch and cases we expect to follow for decades.
Warranty: 10-year structural warranty on the fixture (clinic-extended manufacturer warranty).

03

Neodent (Straumann Group · Brazil)

Products: GM Helix · Titamax.
Why: the value brand of the Straumann Group. Same surface technology heritage, engineered for standard cases where the premium surface of BLX isn't clinically required. Used in our Standard and Premium tiers.
Warranty: 10-year structural warranty on the fixture (clinic-extended manufacturer warranty).

04

Medentika (Straumann Group · Germany)

Products: Microcone · Quattrocone.
Why: the other Straumann Group value brand. German-engineered, precision-manufactured. Used interchangeably with Neodent in our Standard tier — Dr. Öztürk chooses per case based on anatomy.
Warranty: 10-year structural warranty on the fixture (clinic-extended manufacturer warranty).

What we do not use: no private-label fixtures, no "Straumann-compatible" generics, no re-branded Korean or Chinese implants. Every fixture placed at GC Clinic belongs to the Straumann Group (Straumann · Neodent · Medentika) or Nobel Biocare. The manufacturer certificate in your file names the exact brand, product line and lot number of what is in your mouth.

Prosthetic materials

Porcelain and zirconia — named.

e.max Press (Ivoclar)

Lithium-disilicate. Our default crown and veneer material for 80% of cases. 15-year published survival data.

Feldspathic layered

Traditional layered porcelain, for anterior veneers where light translucency matters. Built by hand on refractory die.

Zirkonzahn Prettau

Monolithic zirconia — chosen for posterior crowns and full-arch bridgework where strength is critical.

Zirkonzahn ICE

Translucent zirconia — the compromise material for cases that need zirconia strength with a more natural aesthetic.

Ceramill composite

Indirect composite for specific cases where porcelain is contraindicated. Rare.

3M Filtek Supreme

Direct composite for bonding, edge repairs, and small anterior restorations.

Grafts, membranes, biologics

The boring list that decides outcomes.

What is in your file

Your specific materials, documented at surgery.

Every patient receives, with their warranty certificate, a one-page material record listing: the specific fixture brand, lot number, surface specification; the crown or veneer material and ceramist batch; the graft, membrane or suture brand where applicable. We do this because ten years from now, you may need this information — and by then, our CRM may not be the same CRM, and your memory may not be your memory.

Still comparing clinics? Ask them to name their materials.

A clinic that cannot tell you the brand and surface specification of its implants is a clinic that does not want you to know.
