Ms Engin Bakkal completed her degree at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and has been in continuous clinical practice since 1995 — close to thirty years of hands-on experience. She joined GC Clinic in 2024. Her clinical scope covers surgical and flapless implant placement, oral surgery (including sinus lift and bone augmentation), aesthetic dentistry, and comprehensive periodontics. Each case is planned on its own clinical merits — guided by what the diagnosis actually shows, not by a default protocol.
Single-unit and multi-implant placement, including flapless techniques where bone volume and soft-tissue anatomy allow. Each case is assessed on its own clinical merits — implants are placed only where they are biologically and prosthetically indicated.
Pre-implant augmentation procedures: lateral and internal sinus lift, autogenous and xenogeneic bone grafting. Complex extractions and surgical site preparation for subsequent prosthetic restoration.
Aesthetic restorations with a clear preference for tissue-conserving preparation. Close coordination with Dr. Öztürk on combined endodontic-aesthetic cases where the native tooth can be preserved.
Systematic periodontal treatment from initial debridement through to supportive maintenance. Where indicated, regenerative procedures using membranes and bone-substitute materials.
GC Clinic was founded in 1985 by Prof. Dr. Semih Özbayrak and his wife Zümrüt Özbayrak in Nişantaşı. Dr. Cansu Öztürk took over clinical leadership in 2019. Ms Zerrin Engin Bakkal joined the team in 2024 as a specialist clinician — focused on implantology, oral surgery, aesthetic dentistry and periodontics.
At GC Clinic, every treatment plan is designed and led personally by Dr. Öztürk — from the first consultation through to final review. For surgically demanding implant cases or complex oral-surgery indications, the clinical plan is reviewed jointly with Ms Engin Bakkal.
